Jobviz ("we", "our", "us") operates the jobviz.dev website and the Jobviz application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed). This is required to provide the Service.
2.2 Job Event Data
Through our agent SDK, we collect background job telemetry data including: job identifiers, queue names, job status transitions and timestamps, error messages and stack traces, job payload data, duration metrics, retry counts, environment tags, trace IDs, and agent metadata.
This data is the core of the Service and is necessary to provide monitoring and debugging features.
2.3 Usage Analytics (with consent)
With your explicit consent (via our cookie banner), we collect:
- Microsoft Clarity: Page views, navigation paths, browser type, device type, heatmaps, and session recordings. No personally identifiable information is collected.
- Sentry: Error reports, performance traces, and session replays when errors occur. Used exclusively for debugging and improving the Service.
You can reject analytics cookies at any time. The Service functions fully without them.
2.4 Billing Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- To send alerts and notifications you've configured
- To provide AI-powered analysis of your job data
- To detect and prevent abuse or security incidents
- To communicate important Service updates
4. AI Data Processing
When you use AI features (root cause analysis, debug assistant, etc.), relevant job data may be sent to third-party AI providers (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) for processing. This data is:
- Sent only when you explicitly trigger an AI feature
- Not used to train AI models (per our agreements with providers)
- Processed in accordance with each provider's data processing agreements
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data to third parties. We share data only with:
- Service providers: Stripe (billing), AI providers (when you use AI features), cloud infrastructure providers
- Legal requirements: If required by law or valid legal process
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures:
- All data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest
- API keys are hashed; full keys shown only once at creation
- Rate limiting and abuse detection on all endpoints
- Regular security audits and dependency updates
7. Data Retention
Job event data is retained according to your plan:
- Free plan: 7 days
- Pro plan: 90 days
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data
- Withdraw consent for analytics cookies
- Object to processing
